The Netflix catalog is a living thing with binge-worthy content coming and going with each month.

  2. Conspiracy
  3. Forks Over Knives
  4. Peaceable Kingdom
  5. Vegucated
  6. Fat, Sick, And Nearly Dead
  7. Food, Inc
  8. In Defense Of Food

What The Health

What The Health will always be one of my favorite vegan and health-related documentaries.

This incredible documentary features Kip Anderson and exposes the truths about meat and dairy consumption, the industries producing these products, and how they try to cover up the truth.

Cowspiracy

Cowspiracy is another great Kip Anderson movie along with Keegan Kuhn that discusses the environmental disaster that is the meat industry.

Forks Over Knives

Forks Over Knives is a classic film that is based on the health benefits of a vegan or vegetarian plant-based diet.

It’s an inspiring film that you can’t help but walk away from with a desire to make changes to your own life.

Peaceable Kingdom

Peaceable Kingdom is the story of a bunch of farmers that have decided against killing animals and have become vegan along the way.

Vegucated

Vegucated follows three New Yorks as they test out a vegan diet for six weeks.

This film is about their story, process, and what they learn along the way.

Fat, Sick, And Nearly Dead

This documentary is a classic and is a must-see in my opinion for anyone that is interested in a healthier lifestyle.

It follows the journey of Joe Cross who is overweight and unhealthy as well as suffering from an autoimmune disease.

His journey to regain his health and life is inspiring and worth a watch.

Food, Inc

Another great movie that exposes the food industry and its practices.

In Defense Of Food

This is a Micheal Pollan documentary that is based on the ultimate question of “what should we eat to be healthy?”.

Seaspiracy

We often forget about the fishing industry and seafood as a whole.

This is an amazingly eye-opening documentary about the fishing industry and marine life in general.

The Milk System

This is a must-watch because many vegetarians still consume milk and dairy products without being aware of the truths behind the dairy industry.

Earthling’s

This documentary features Joaquin Phoenix and is a tear-jerker that discusses how we as humans use animals for pets, food, clothing, entertainment, and for science.

It’s not always a pretty reality for animals due to human treatment.

Blackfish

Blackfish is about the captivity of Orca Whales and the story of one Orca named Tilikum that was captured and brought to Seaworld.

This particular Orca was responsible for the deaths of three people during captivity.

It’s not a family-friendly movie due to containing footage of an attack on a trainer.

Fat, Sick, And, Nearly Dead 2

The sequel to the original is just as good as the first but, you must see the original film before you can truly appreciate its sequel.

Hungry For A Change

This documentary focuses on detoxification and how it is connected to healthy living and weight loss.
